Jewelry Parties
by Diana Kirkpatrick
IIn
designing my handcrafted artisan jewelry pieces, my goal is to
create to a work of art that brings enjoyment whether it is worn or
displayed. Although lots of customers visit my website, many of my
customers see and try my pieces at home-jewelry parties.
I have brochures
available on the website that explain how my home parties work. Each
brochure contains a coupon for a discount on my handcrafted artisan
jewelry for anyone who wants to hold a party for me. The guests just
relax and enjoy looking at gorgeous handcrafted artisan silver and
gold jewelry in comfort. I often learn a lot from conversations with
customers about what they especially like and what else they’d like
to see. This information gives me ideas for new art jewelry designs
and color combinations.

What do you look for in handcrafted jewelry? Quality? Beauty?
Elegance? My artisan jewelry provides all of that and even more. My
handmade jewelry is all unique one-of-a-kind designs. The handmade
jewelry for sale at my jewelry parties is guaranteed to be
handcrafted from the finest materials. I use sterling silver, pure
silver (called fine silver), 14/20 gold-filled and karat gold along
with precious and semi-precious gemstones.
I include lots of gemstones, pearls, and beads in my unique
handcrafted bracelets and my handmade necklace and earring designs.
Some of my bracelet designs involve yards and yards of coiled silver
wire which is wound around a silver bracelet and accented with
gemstone beads. I create handcrafted wound silver beads for my
necklaces and some earrings, too. My handcrafted artisan jewelry is
high quality jewelry that will last a lifetime.

IIt is wonderful to see someone become excited about a special piece
of handcrafted jewelry. The party setting is informal and relaxed so
people have an opportunity to try on a variety of pieces in a
casual, friendly setting. I arrive early to set up a display of a
complete assortment of my unique one-of-a- kind silver and gemstone
earrings, my artisan gemstone and pearl necklaces, and my
handcrafted silver and gemstone bracelets. I do similar parties for
brides who prefer handcrafted artisan jewelry and like to shop for
their wedding jewelry in comfort along with their friends. I have a
complete line of handcrafted pearl and crystal tiaras, silver and
pearl earrings and necklaces, and a large variety of silver
bracelets.

I love doing Jewelry Parties! Your party hostess arranges for
refreshments and works out all the details. The hostess earns
sterling silver and 14kt gold-filled handcrafted artisan gemstone
jewelry and is eligible for special hostess gifts and discount
coupons for her future shopping! I work together with my hostess for
the event to insure that everything that customers will need is
available: mirrors, good lighting, and lots of items displayed in a
variety of colors. The party lasts three to four hours, so everyone
has time to shop and nobody feels rushed. I tell some stories about
how I came to create some of my special handcrafted designs and I
try to provide a setting in which the customer feels totally
comfortable trying on all the handcrafted jewelry and asking
questions. All guests receive discount coupons good for future party
purchases. I’d like each of my customers to feel that they know me
on a personal basis, hopefully as a friend.

I keep some choice pieces set aside and out of general view. If
someone seems interested in something very special, I can always
produce an especially spectacular piece of handcrafted silver and
gemstone jewelry to show her.
All the artisan jewelry pieces shown at these parties are custom
designed and handcrafted artisan jewelry created by Diana
Kirkpatrick. My jewelry designs are available in sterling silver,
gold-filled and also in karat gold with pearls and a variety of
gemstones. You’ll find lots of treasures to keep and gorgeous
one-of-a-kind gifts to give! Each item comes in a satin or velvet
bag.
